MARIA HANSEN-QUINE | LEADERSHIP CONSULTANT | TRAUMA INFORMED TRAINER
Building Trauma Informed Schools
Practical training. Stronger relationships. Healthier schools.
Creating schools where every student feels safe, seen, supported and ready to learn.
Why it matters
Trauma affects how students learn, behave, build relationships, and respond to everyday challenges. It also affects educator wellbeing, team dynamics, and the overall culture of a school.
Trauma-informed education is not about lowering expectations. It is about helping educators understand what may be happening beneath a student’s behavior and equipping them with practical strategies that create the conditions for learning, connection, and growth.
